About the event
An introduction to the social and architectural history of Chester University’s Churchill building, formerly Western Command. The talk, by Chantal Bradburn of the university, will explore the history of the site, since its construction as a military centre in the late 1930s, through to the present day, considering how local architecture and international politics have shaped the building and surrounding area.
