Chester has 2,000 years of history from the Romans to the Beatles. It has witnessed plague, pestilence, and prosperity. Tonight, Green Badge Guide David Atkinson delves into the shadows to reveal tales from Chester’s dark side: plague doctors, heads on spikes over Eastgate, and ghostly goings-on at Chester’s former gallows.
