About the event
Newly-acquired materials from Browns of Chester showcase some of the dazzling fashions, glitzy events, spectacular architecture, and staff’s creativity which helped make the store a local institution. You can share your favourite memories of the store while finding out more about the impact that Browns had on local life.
At around 18:00 Dr Rebecca Andrew of the Department of History & Archaeology, University of Chester, will give a short talk exploring the store’s history and identity.
