About the event
Join us at St. Mary's Church which is Grade I listed. Tower Fifteenth Century, remainder of building Sixteenth century. Place of worship since Saxon times, mentioned in Domesday Book. Many interesting internal and external features. Church is , last tour will begin around 12.15pm. In the afternoon at 2pm there will be a guided short walk of the village centre, based on the blue plaque walk leaflet. The walk starts in the church car park. If you wish to do the walk yourself there will be copies of the trail at the church.open10am - 1pm
No booking is necessary. Guided tours will be available on arrival at the church but alternatively you can go round by yourself. Bell tower may not be open.
There is one small step into church but ramp available for wheelchair users.
