About the event

Join Aleta Doran, Artist in Residence at Chester Cathedral, to explore the fascinating collection of Trena Cox’s work at St Werburgh’s Church. This highly decorative set of windows was made during the 1930s, at the height of her career.

Trena Cox (1895-1980) was a stained glass artist who lived and worked in Chester throughout a career lasting almost fifty years. Her vibrant windows can be found across the North West and North Wales, with a small number at locations further afield, including Walsingham.

This free event does not require advance booking.

This event anticipates the exhibition Trena Cox: Reflections 100, which will take place at Chester Cathedral later this year.
