About the event

Please meet in Reception of Churchill Building. The Churchill Building was built in 1937/38 as the headquarters for Western Command. Learn about the role of Western Command during World War II. The visit will include an illustrated talk focusing on what the architecture of the building tells us about its purpose, both locally and nationally, and a tour of the key features.

Wheelchair access is available and there is a lift. Parking is available. Blue Badge spaces are available. A temporary parking permit will be provided. The underground bunkers are not safe to be visited by the public at this time.

This tour is also available at 1pm today.
